About
Lorraine Lazarus-Morley, LCSW
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over ten years of experience in treating people with mental health issues. I received my Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and I am a graduate of the Westchester Center for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I treat individuals facing depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, loss, life transitions, and relationship issues. My clients are eighteen and older and come from diverse backgrounds with varied histories.
I believe in establishing a collaborative relationship that is both non-judgmental and supportive. I help my clients gain insight and increased awareness that forward their lives in a positive direction. I engage people with warmth in an exploration of the emotional and behavioral patterns that hold them back from enjoying a full life. I believe therapy is a path to a greater sense of self worth and relief from the overwhelming and intense emotions that can challenge us.
I work with people from many professions including the arts, business, education, and parents who are the primary caregiver in their home. I have worked extensively, both individually and in groups, with parents of special needs children.
